2009

2009 was the first year that I participated in, what at the time was called the Weekend to End Breast Cancer.  

My friend Lori talked me into doing the walk with her and the team she was in, The Super Boobie Fairies.  The Fairies had been involved in the walk for many years prior to that, and this was going to be Lori's 2nd time.

It was a great group of people and I could not have asked to be part of a better team.

The team was great, but for most of them, this walk was a piece of cake.  For myself, Lori and Carol, it was a bit harder.   Happy to say that we did the whole walk, didn't get swept once.
